Well, here goes... all the gory details! All the modifications have been made to a 1997 Montero Sport LS 3.0L 5-Speed I bought new with 296 miles on it. Before I bought the Sport Boulder Mitsubishi replaced the interior with leather, safari striped the outside, added the Mitsu alarm system and a dozen other things I've forgotten. Basically, I ended up buying an "XLS" with a manual 5-speed transmission. Right now its got about 90,000 miles on the odometer and I've yet to have any kind of a mechanical break down. Amazing considering what I use it for!

That was then, this is now. Quite a bit has changed since I first bought my Sport January 5th of 1997. Most specificly, the drivetrain. My little truck now sports a Currie Dana 44 rear and a reverse rotation high-pinion Dana 44 front both packing 5.38 gears to turn the 35x12.5 inch Yokohama Geolandar M/Ts.
